Zootopia, the anticipated Disney animated film set to debut on March 4, 2016, has given life to characters Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. USA Today shared a first look of the characters. Before this image was release, there were only concept sketches. Here we can now see how these guys will look in the actual film.
Though this is only a sneak peek, there is still much to look forward to. Nick Wilde, the fox, is being voiced by Jason Bateman while Judy Hopps, the bunny, will be played by Ginnifer Goodwin. As it would be, Nick is considered a ‘sly con artist.’ As for Judy, she is portrayed as an ‘idealistic rookie rabbit cop.’
Together, they create a friendship and help each other in a time of need. The article states, “as in nature, the fox and the rabbit don’t get along at first, but circumstances change when Nick needs her help to get out of a jam and Judy relies on him to help crack a big case.”
Zootopia is directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore.
