Frozen’s co-director and writer, Jennifer Lee, is set to work on a new project involving “A Wrinkle in Time” according to Variety. The book to movie adaptation will be for the Walt Disney Company.
Written in 1962 by Madeleine L’Engle, the book follows children as they time travel looking for their father. They venture through odd worlds of science fiction to find him. With a lead female narrative, it is said to be one of Lee’s favorite books as a child.
While work progresses with this project, Lee will still participate in the Walt Disney Animation department. There is currently no director set for this film.
