Review of "Guardians of the Galaxy" Extended Trailer at the Disneyland Resort

Interested in seeing “Guardians of the Galaxy” this summer? At the Disneyland Resort, guests can get a look at the exclusive extended trailer at the Magic Eye Theater in Tomorrowland.

This ten minute trailer in 3D, surrounds you with added lights, movement and other special effects, making you feel like you are actually in the movie. We first start off with Peter Quill exploring the land of another planet. A mix of music and a quick glimpse of what he does for a living starts of the trailer. Star-Lord proves to show how good he is at capturing treasure.

As seen in the official trailer online, the one at the resort allows you to see and understand more of what is going on. Without giving too much away, the extended trailer throws bits and pieces of the film at you.

The best part of the trailer had to be the lighting and movement of the theater as you sat watching the screen. Very clever indeed. Still, it could have been a little more enticing with other elements such as maybe water, I still enjoyed the preview. Along with attending this preview, guests received a cellphone screen cleaner (for the AP preview) with the movie’s logo.

You can get a look at this extended trailer as of today and be sure to check out “Guardians of the Galaxy” in theaters August 1.
