On this day in 2010, the nighttime spectacular World of Color debuted to the public at Disney California Adventure. A show that took five years to create, World of Color uses water screens, high definition projectors, and almost 1,200 water jets to bring Disney stories to life in a “living ‘Fantasia.’” The tallest fountains shoot 200 feet in the air, or 50 feet higher than the Pixar Pal Around! Lighting effects, fire, fog, and lasers add to the show, which spans longer than a football field!
