On this day in 2020, ‘The Disney Family Singalong’ TV special was presented by ABC. Ryan Seacrest hosted the musical event that brought viewers some joy in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Musicians and celebrities performed their favorite Disney songs from home. Karaoke lyrics were added to the screen so spectators could join in. The show was watched by 10.3 million viewers and it was followed by two more editions later that year.
