Rocket to the Moon - DISNEY THIS DAY - July 22, 1969

On this day in 1955, Rocket to the Moon presented by TWA opened in Tomorrowland at Disneyland, five days after the park’s grand opening. Rocket to the Moon took guests on a simulated trip to the moon from the comfort of a theater seat.
