Operation Dumbo Drop - DISNEY THIS DAY - July 28, 1995

On this day in 1995, Operation Dumbo Drop was released in theaters. Based on a true story, the film takes place during the Vietnam War. Danny Glover and Ray Liotta star as Green Berets who attempt to transport an elephant through difficult jungle terrain in order to honor the loyalty of a local village and keep tabs on enemy forces.
