Goofy's Birthday - DISNEY THIS DAY - May 25, 1932

On this day in 1932, Goofy debuted in his first short, "Mickey's Revue." At the time though, our favorite Goof would be known as “Dippy Dawg!” Dippy Dawg was meant to be a one-shot character but was so popular with audiences that he appeared in six more short films before becoming Goofy two years later.
