Ernest S. Marsh - DISNEY THIS DAY - July 25, 1959

On this day in 1959, the Ernest S. Marsh locomotive took its first Grand Circle Tour around Disneyland, engineered by none other than Walt Disney! Engine No. 4 was built in 1925 and started its life at the Puritan River Sand Company in New Jersey. It was named after the then-current president of the Santa Fe Railroad.
