Drawing from classic Disney fairy tales, ‘Descendants’ follows the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil as they adjust to life outside the Island of the Lost and attend high school at Auradon Prep. The premiere had 6.6 million viewers, making it the #5 cable movie of all time. ‘Descendants’ became a franchise with multiple movies, TV shows, and short films.
