Carolwood-Pacific Railroad - DISNEY THIS DAY - May 7, 1950
On this day in 1950, the first engine ran on the Carolwood-Pacific Railroad, Walt Disney’s 1/8-scale train in the backyard of his home on Carolwood Drive in Holmby Hills, California. The railway was about a half mile long and was rideable! The Carolwood-Pacific Railroad is cited as part of Walt’s inspiration for the creation of Disneyland. Want More Disney news and videos?
