It is the 60th anniversary of The Avengers. As part of the celebration of this milestone, shopDisney has released a collection with new merchandise. The collection includes apparel, costumes, toys, mugs, lamps, bedding, watches, and so much more. Below is a look at some of the merchandise that is a part of this collection.
The full The Avengers collection can be found on shopDisney here. The Avengers first appeared in September 1963 in The Avengers #1. The Avengers were made up of characters who each had comic book stories of their own. They were created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. Initially, this new series was published bi-monthly for the first six comic books. Then from July 1964 through September 1996, the series was published monthly. There have been multiple spinoffs of the series through the years. In 2018, the series was relaunched as Avengers. They have also appeared in multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
