On this day in 2004, the children’s TV show ‘Higglytown Heroes’ premiered on Playhouse Disney. The show focused on how everyday people can be heroes in the jobs they do and with the teamwork they show. Each episode had a problem to solve with the help of a hero in a different career – like mail carrier, firefighter, janitor, and bus driver – each voiced by a different celebrity guest. The show's theme song was performed by They Might Be Giants.
