Gadget’s Go Coaster was a family-friendly roller coaster located in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland. It was themed around the character Gadget Hackwrench from the animated TV show “Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers.”

The coaster was designed specifically for younger riders and featured a whimsical and colorful theme. The ride vehicles resembled little acorn-shaped cars, and each car accommodated up to two passengers. As riders embark on their journey, they would follow a short track that included twists, turns, and gentle dips, providing a thrilling yet mild coaster experience.

The queue area of Gadget’s Go Coaster was themed like a workshop, showcasing various tools and gadgets created by Gadget Hackwrench. The surrounding area was filled with vibrant cartoon-like scenery, oversized props, and playful elements, creating a fun and immersive atmosphere.

Gadget’s Go Coaster was a popular attraction among families with young children, offering a gentle and enjoyable introduction to roller coaster rides. While it may not have the intensity of larger coasters in the park, it provided a delightful experience that captured the adventurous spirit of the Rescue Rangers.

Gadget’s Go Coaster closed in March 2022 to make way for an updated version, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster, which opened in March 2023.
