The Main Street Electrical Parade is a nighttime parade at Disneyland that features a procession of illuminated floats, dancers, and performers. It was first introduced in 1972 and has since become a beloved Disney classic.

The parade begins with a fanfare and features an array of Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck. The floats are decorated with thousands of colorful lights, creating a dazzling display that is set to a synchronized soundtrack of classic Disney tunes.

Some of the floats in the parade include Cinderella’s ballroom, a giant drum with the word “Disneyland” emblazoned on it, and a pirate ship from Peter Pan. The performers, who are dressed in elaborate costumes, dance and interact with the audience as they make their way down Main Street, USA.

The Main Street Electrical Parade has undergone a number of updates and enhancements over the years, including the addition of new floats and characters. The parade has also been adapted for other Disney parks around the world, including Walt Disney World in Florida and Tokyo Disneyland in Japan.
