On this day in 2005, ‘The Incredibles’ won two Oscars at the 77th Annual Academy Awards ceremony. The first was for Best Animated Feature Film, where ‘The Incredibles’ competed against ‘Shrek 2’ and ‘Shark Tale.’ The second award was for Best Achievement in Sound Editing against ‘The Polar Express’ and ‘Spider-Man 2.’ ‘The Incredibles’ was also nominated for Best Writing, Original Screenplay and Best Achievement in Sound Editing, but did not win.
