On this day in 1950, the Goofy short ‘How to Ride a Horse’ was released as a standalone cartoon. It was originally part of the anthology feature ‘The Reluctant Dragon’ in 1941. This production date makes it the first in Goofy’s “How to” series, though ‘How to Play Basketball’ from 1942 was the first to appear on its own.
