In 2019, the world watched in horror as flames poured out of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral. At the time, the future of this iconic building looked bleak. At the time, French President Emmanuel Macron vowed that the building would be rebuilt in five years. Five years later, the doors of this cathedral are set to reopen on December 7, 2024.
To celebrate the reopening of Notre Dame de Paris, Disneyland Paris will be offering a special nighttime spectacular in the skies over Sleeping Beauty Castle from December 5 through December 14, 2024. The show will be how Disneyland Paris pays tribute to this iconic monument of French culture and heritage. This show will be performed ahead of Disneyland Illuminations in Disneyland Paris.
This new spectacular is inspired by the story of the Walt Disney Animation studios film The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It will include multiple different elements to wow those in attendance. This includes drones, fireworks, and projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle. This show will replace the Disney Electrical Sky Parade during its special run.
As with all shows at Disneyland Paris, the presentation is subject to weather and technical conditions being correct. It could be canceled if conditions aren’t ideal.
