The evening will include two components. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, there will be a panel conversation with Tony Baxter and Leslie Iwerks that will be moderated by Tim O’Day. This portion of the evening also includes an art showcase and signing.
At 7:00 PM, the event will pivot to a book and artwork signing portion of the event that is open to the public.
Disney Legend, artist, and Imagineer Tony Baxter has worked on many fan-favorites at the Disney Parks through the years. This includes Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Stars Tours,
Indiana Jones Adventure, and also creating Figment. He recently released two paintings, Steps of St. Paul’s and Tyrolean Fantasy. The first painting was inspired by Walt Disney’s classic film Mary Poppins. The second was inspired by the Disney classic animated movie, Pinocchio. Baxter will be available to sign both of these pieces of art.

Tim O’Day recently wrote Groundbreaking Magic: A Black Woman’s Journey Through The Happiest Place on Earth with Disney Legend Martha Blanding. He will be on hand to sign this book.
Along with the releases from the trio listed above, there will also be other pieces from Disney Fine Art artists available for purchase and signature at the Van Eaton Galleries for this event. This list of Disney artists includes:
- Bret Iwan (the official voice of Mickey Mouse)
- Eric Tan (former Director of Design, Disney Creative Group)
For those attending the event, authors and artists will only be able to sign artwork and books that are sold at the event.
