Winnie the Pooh Confectionery Display at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Winnie the Pooh Confectionery Display Appears at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

A new confectionery display has arrived at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This one, called “live the Hunny life,” celebrates the 100th anniversary of Winnie the Pooh. It recreates some recognizable places in the 100-Acre Wood. The display was created by the pastry team at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It invites fans to “embrace the gentle wisdom and enduring charm that continues to inspire the world today.”

A sign next to the display revealed the following about it:

  • The display stands approximately 7 feet tall
  • It took approximately 400 hours to complete
  • It is made up of:
    • 200 pounds of Fondant
    • 130 pounds of Rice Cereal
    • 90 pounds of Marshmallows
    • 60 pounds of Chocolate

The display also has 22 bees hidden throughout it as well. This comes as The Secrets of Bees from National Geographic is now available on Disney+. This is a part of a bigger Earth Month initiative called Step Into Wonder. National Geographic is spearheading this initiative. It spotlights “a dynamic slate of content and experiences designed to inspire a deeper connection to the natural world.”
