Over three nights this week, Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite is being offered after the end of the normal operating day of The Happiest Place on Earth! This hard-ticketed event begins at 9:00 PM after the park closes at 8:00 PM. It is full of specialty entertainment offerings, specialty foods, merchandise (that is ridiculously popular), and even an exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives (check out Daps Magic’s guide for the event here).
Called Walt Disney Archives: Disney Channel, the exhibit features some favorite Disney Channel costumes and props. This allows attendees to visit the Starcade and see these artifacts from Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, and High School Musical. The exhibit is in the Starcade, which also has a merchandise location. With the merchandise being quite popular and the queue quite long, it isn’t a bad idea to either show up really early or later in the evening when the rush dies down.

This exhibit was a lovely addition to Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite. It would be great in the future if it had its own queue for guests who didn’t want to purchase the event merchandise. In the brief time that Daps Magic was viewing the exhibit, fans could be seen taking photos of and with different parts of the exhibit. There was definitely a connection that was being embraced and enjoyed by fans with some of their favorite Disney Channel Franchises. It is a great way to showcase what the Walt Disney Archives does and has for guests who may not get to see them in action as often.
