WALL-E and EVE at Pixar Place Hotel

WALL-E and Eve Arrive at Pixar Place Hotel for Earth Month Visits

On Wednesday, April 1st, WALL-E and Eve made appearances at Pixar Place Hotel. This was no April Fool’s joke. Instead, it was the start of a month of Wednesdays where the pair will be appearing at the third Disneyland Resort hotel. Their arrival came a year after WALL-E debuted at Pixar Place Hotel on Earth Day.

This year, the Disneyland Resort shared a video of the two star-crossed robots from the 2008 Pixar Animation Studios’ film that has lessons about conservation. The duo will be appearing on April 8, 15, 22, and 29 at Pixar Place Hotel. Guests will be able to meet them and also take photos with them. WALL-E rolls in with Eve “floating” next to him. Check out the video below of their first day at the Disneyland Resort together.

Released in 2008, WALL-E tells the story of WALL-E, which is short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class. He is the last robot left on Earth. Each day, he tidies up the plant, one piece of garbage at a time. Throughout the course of 700 years of doing this, he has developed a personality and also happens to be a bit lonely. When he spots EVE, a sleek and shapely probe that was sent to Earth on a scanning mission, WALL-E is smitten. He then embarks on an adventure, following EVE across the galaxy. The film is a beautiful love story with a message of conservation.

WALL-E and Eve are also currently appearing aboard the Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure. They appear in the stage show called Remember. In the show, WALL-E works to restore a rebooted EVE using music and memories from a variety of Disney and Pixar films. The Walt Disney Company is celebrating Earth Month in multiple other ways as part of its Step Into Wonder campaign.
