Star Wars Series Coming to El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood

The Force is strong at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood as the theatre is about to launch a special Star Wars series on select days throughout April. Movies that will be shown as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be shown Friday, April 17, through Monday, April 20. Showtimes for the movie are as follows: 10 am, 1:30 pm, 5 pm, and 8:30 pm. Tickets for all ages are $17 and include all fees.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars stand-alone films — Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes bands together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves. Some flashing light sequences or patterns may affect photosensitive viewers.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Solo: A Star Wars Story will be playing at El Capitan Theatre from Tuesday, April 21, through Thursday, April 23. Showtimes are as follows: 10 am, 1:30 pm, 5 pm, and 8:30 pm. Tickets for all screenings and all ages on Tuesday, April 21, are $8, while tickets on April 22 and 23 are $17. Ticket prices include all fees.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an epic action-adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, beginning a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes. Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be shown at El Capitan Theatre from Friday, April 24, through Tuesday, April 28. Showtimes are as follows: 10 am, 1:30 pm, 5 pm, and 8:30 pm. Tickets for all ages are $17 for Friday through Monday screenings. Tuesday screenings are $8. Ticket prices include all fees.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Visionary director J.J. Abrams brings to life the motion picture event of a generation. As Kylo Ren and the sinister First Order rise from the ashes of the Empire, Luke Skywalker is missing when the galaxy needs him most. It’s up to Rey, a desert scavenger, and Finn, a defecting stormtrooper, to join forces with Han Solo and Chewbacca in a desperate search for the one hope of restoring peace to the galaxy. Some flashing light sequences or patterns may affect photosensitive viewers.

Tickets for all three movies are available now through the El Capitan Theatre website. All films are rated PG-13.
