Refreshment Port at EPCOT to Become La Poutinerie, Hosted by Air Canada

Some changes are coming to EPCOT. Refreshment Port is being reimagined. When it is completed, it will become La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada. This will connect the location with the nearby Canada Pavilion in a more direct way than ever before. Air Canada shared the news about this new establishment while also promoting being the official Canadian Airline of Walt Disney World Resort. Here is the concept art that was shared:

A new brief description for La Poutinerie was also shared:

A taste of Canada at EPCOT. La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada brings a Canadian classic with a twist.

This seems to indicate that the menu will offer some creative approaches to the classic Canadian dish. The concept art also appears to indicate that La Poutinerie will celebrate its Canadian connection with the landscape, plants, and decor around it. While this location has previously served poutine, it hasn’t traditionally been overtly Canadian visually. This new location will lean into its Canadian connection more than it has previously.

Refreshment Port closed in January. At this time, there isn’t a reopening date for the location.

Air Canada is the official Canadian airline for Walt Disney World Resort. It offers a variety of Disney perks to those who book their Disney vacations through Air Canada and also become Aeroplan Members. More information about this can be found on the Air Canada website.
