Disneyland Resort is all about inclusivity and welcoming guests of all backgrounds, cultures, and traditions. 5 Keys are important to the Cast Member role at Disney Parks: Safety, Courtesy, Show, Efficiency, and Inclusivity. Every day, thousands of guests from around the world visit the Disneyland Resort. Park maps are available in multiple languages, including Spanish, French, Chinese, Mandarin, Japanese, and German.
Celebration buttons are available for all guests as they celebrate their first visit, a birthday, an anniversary, a wedding, a special occasion, and more.
Now, a special button has been made for Spanish-speaking guests. This was first announced by Disneyland Ambassador Oralia on the Disneyland Ambassador Instagram account.
These buttons use the name many Spanish-speaking guests have called Disneyland for years – “Disneylandia.” While Disneyland Resort is the official name for the Resort, no matter the language, the use of “Disneylandia” is special for those guests. It brings back memories because “Disneylandia” has always been a magical place that celebrates culture, traditions, special connections, and memories.
The button comes in red and blue and says “Disneyland es aún más feliz con.” This means that “Disneyland is a bit happier with,” and you fill out the blank.
These new “Disneylandia” buttons are available at select locations throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
What do you think of these new “Disneylandia” celebration buttons? Did you ever call Disneyland “Disneylandia?” Let us know in the comments.
