The Disney Princess Cavalcade

New Details Revealed About The Disney Princess Cavalcade at Disney Adventure World

Disneyland Paris is celebrating its 34th anniversary today. It is an exciting time for fans of Disneyland Paris with the recent opening of Disney Adventure World and with it, World of Frozen! The opening of Disney Adventure World isn’t the end of the story, however, but just the start of the next chapter. This chapter includes new attractions, entertainment, and more!

One of the new offerings that is coming to Disney Adventure World is The Disney Princess Cavalcade. It will debut this summer on July 24th. This will be found along Adventure Way. Today, more details were revealed by Disneyland Paris about this new cavalcade. It will provide the opportunity for guests to journey alongside some of their favorite Disney Princesses who are celebrated for their courage and adventurous spirit. There will be four princesses from four worlds with four radically different stories, Disneyland Paris shared. They all, however, share the same determination to achieve a single goal: helping their community.

Disneyland Paris shared the following about Moana and Raya’s inclusion in this cavalcade:

Moana doesn’t hesitate to set sail to save the people of her island of Motunui. Meanwhile, Raya’s quest to reunite the various fragments of the Dragon Stone has no other purpose than to save her people and bring together the different lands of Kumandra.

That’s why the creators of this cavalcade have chosen to emphasise the idea of belonging through the different floats that make it up: the village of Motunui for Moana and the Heart Palace for Raya.

Concept art for the Raya float was shared as well:

Matteo Borghi, one of the show directors, shared, “Françoise Baffioni and I were inspired by the idea of adventure as expressed at Disney Adventure World. There can be no true journey, quest or exploration unless you are firmly rooted in your community and culture. This approach is typical of Disney and that’s the spirit in which we imagined this story.”

The two show directors are hard at work as they dig deep into the world of the original animated films and the traditions that surround them in the countries they represent. This has been used as they design the floats, outfits, and even create choreography. The choreography has been created in collaboration with the renowned choreographer Cécile Chaduteau.

The cavalcade will begin at the entrance of the future The Lion King-themed area. It will then make its way up to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge before it returns to where it started. During the return, guests will experience an interactive sequence where the Princesses will greet the public. During this time, Moana will teach some moves inspired by traditional Pacific Island dance, and Raya will demonstrate moves inspired by martial arts. “It’s a way of bringing Adventure Way to life as a whole,” explains Françoise Baffioni. “All along the avenue that runs from World Premiere Plaza to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, you’ll find all kinds of entertainment.”

Music will play an essential role as the narrator for this cavalcade. There will be two original songs that will be heard. They were produced specially for this event. One will accompany the cavalcade while it moves, the other when it stops. The songs were written by a group of songwriters, including Chris Sernel, who previously delighted guests with Ready for the Ride, written for the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, along with the songs for Alice and the Queen of Hearts – Back to Wonderland show. This cavalcade promises to offer a completely different musical experience. It will have infectious energy and inspiring lyrics. There will also be some moments from the Princesses’ musical themes thrown in as well. All of the music was recorded last November in Nashville with some of the finest musicians that could be found in the city.

The two directors are currently hard at work to finalize the design of this new experience. On-site rehearsals will start soon ahead of the debut of this new cavalcade on July 24, 2026!
