Occasionally, guests can be outside the Downtown Disney District LEGO Store building with little LEGO sets. These mini-builds give guests the chance to show up at the LEGO Store, wait in line, and then build a small set. Once they have completed this build, they can take it home with them. These are a lot of fun and are quite popular. The next one will be on April 12, 2026.

The Downtown Disney District announced this mini-build for the LEGO Store on Instagram. It shared that on Sunday, April 12, 2026, there will be a LEGO F1 Academy Mini-Build at the LEGO Store from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This “make and take” event will most likely be quite popular, so if you want to attend and participate, show up early.

The queue for these events generally can be found on the left (East) side of the LEGO Store. This is the opposite side of the store from the Monorail. These queues can get quite long quite fast. It is suggested that you show up early, get into the line earlier, and then spend your wait that way. This is rather than showing up later and potentially having a longer wait and/or missing the chance to build this little race car.
