Pixar’s Hoppers continues to show strength at the box office. The newest Pixar Animation Studios’ film has taken the top spot at the box office for its second week in a row. The film earned an additional $28.5 million domestically. It has now earned $86 million domestically. Internationally, the film has earned $164 million to date.

The film saw resilience with only a drop of 37% in North America for its second weekend. This comes after the film had the highest opening weekend for an original animated Pixar film since 2017’s Coco. This could see the film have a solid run into spring breaks and potentially pass up Pixar’s Elemental, which earned $154 million during its domestic run in 2023.
The film also had decent holding power internationally. It only dropped 17% into its second weekend in holdover markets. It also opened in Japan with $2.4 million. Overseas, the film has now earned $77.9 million. The United Kingdom has led the way by earning $10.1 million. Hoppers will be opening in China next weekend.
