Disney Sequoia Lodge Update

Disneyland Paris Reveals First Look at Disney Sequoia Lodge’s New Rooms

Disney Sequoia Lodge has been offering a magical place to stay for guests since 1992. Disneyland Paris is currently transforming its hotels, and Disney Sequoia Lodge is undergoing a transformation that will see it get some beautiful updates. As it gets refurbished, Disneyland Paris has shared a first look at the new rooms as Imagineers are hard at work on them. Below is a look at what is being done in these rooms.

The first phase of renovation concerns all the rooms in the 5 outdoor lodges, located in the heart of the sequoia forest. While preparatory works are underway, the Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams are putting the final touches on the new model rooms.

This key step allows Imagineers to step inside their creative vision for the first time, experiencing it at full scale, as Sophie Coudré, Artistic Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, explains:

‘The model rooms allow us to validate the overall artistic direction with all the teams involved, refine the creative choices, and make any necessary adjustments – particularly regarding the materials used. We are delighted with the results of these tests and look forward to welcoming our guests into the new rooms, where they can be fully immersed in the beauty of nature once the renovations are complete.’

The rooms will embody the new artistic direction of Disney Sequoia Lodge, honouring the beauty of nature while celebrating beloved Disney characters who call the forest home, including Bambi and friends, as well as the charming characters from Pixar’s Brave.

Following this phase, the remainder of the rooms, along with all key areas of Disney Sequoia Lodge – including the lobby and shopping and dining locations – will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander. As a reminder, the hotel will remain open during the refurbishment work, which will be carried out in phases.
