There are two shows now being shown on the stage in the Opera House at Disneyland. Starting today, Walt Disney – A Magical Life and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln are both being shown in rotation. As of this writing, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is being presented in the morning, and Walt Disney – A Magical Life will be presented in the afternoon/evening.
The schedule starting today seems to be that from opening until 1:30 PM, President Lincoln will be gracing the stage. This show is fairly similar to what has been shown in recent years, with basically just the stage updated to accommodate the addition of the new Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic figure for the second show. The above video was from when President Lincoln first returned to the Opera House after the addition of the second show.
The schedule for Walt Disney – Magical Life sees Mr. Disney taking over the stage from 2:00 PM. Shows will continue until 8:00 PM. This show shares the story of Walt Disney and culminates with some thoughts from Walt Disney as seen in his working office up at the Walt Disney Studios. This is the first time that Walt Disney has recreated as an Audio-Animatronic figure. The above video gives a tour of the exhibits in the Opera House and also includes Walt Disney on stage during a media preview for this new offering.
Walt Disney – A Magical Life arrived at Disneyland as part of its 70th anniversary celebration. This celebration continues until August 9, 2026. For specific times and shows at the Opera House, be sure to check the Disneyland app or the Disneyland website. The sign in front of the Opera House will also indicate which show is being presented inside.
