Adventure Way - Disney Adventure World

Disneyland Paris Premieres Soundtrack for Adventure Way at Disney Adventure World

On March 29, 2026, guests will get to experience Adventure Way at Disneyland Paris’ second park, Disney Adventure World. When they do, they will also get to hear a new soundtrack for the area. This has been written by composer Philippe Rombi. It has been arranged and then recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios as a 40-minute musical accompaniment for Adventure Way.

The new musical theme was unveiled at Disneyland Paris during a special event by Philippe Rombi himself. Rombi, along with Michel den Dulk, Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, spoke about the inspiration behind the composition of this new suite. This is the first new original score to be written for Disneyland Paris since 1992, when an original soundtrack debuted for Discoveryland.

“Choosing to create original music for an entire area of a Disney Park is extremely rare, and it’s even rarer to entrust this job to a French composer. It’s a true recognition of my work and a real honour. I’ve always composed from the heart, driven by my passion. The fact that my music moved the Imagineers to the point where they felt they could entrust me with this huge responsibility means a great deal to me,” declared Philippe Rombi.

Rombi created two main themes that are inspired by the ideas of adventure, travel, wonder, and distant horizons. These came after creative discussions, concept reviews, and a visit to the Disney Adventure World construction site. With these two main motifs, he composed a beautiful suite that is nearly 40 minutes long and can be heard throughout Adventure Way. This includes the various themed gardens that are a part of Adventure Way. In the gardens, fans will hear some subtle nods to Disney Themes. For the Gazebo Garden, the music of Peter Pan and 101 Dalmatians will be heard. The music of Tangled will come to life in its own garden. At The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, a special piano version of the music will be heard. This blends Philippe Rombi’s artistic identity and Disney’s musical universe.

Philippe Rombi is a renowned French composer. He has been nominated four times for the César Awards, notably for the film Joyeux Noël. This soundtrack was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. He returned to this combination to record this new music for Adventure Way in the summer of 2025 with the 84 musicians of this legendary orchestra. This was a return to Rombi’s roots. In 1992, he was a pianist at the Disneyland Hotel when Disneyland Paris first opened.

Below is the premiere of the music of Adventure Way. Take a listen to it and imagine what it will be like when walking through Adventure Way at Disney Adventure World!
