On November 11, 2025, the Disneyland Resort honored all of those who serve with a special Patriotic Flag Retreat in Town Square at Disneyland. The afternoon event takes place on a daily basis at the Happiest Place on Earth! However, for Veterans Day, the Disneyland Resort went the extra mile to show its gratitude and ongoing commitment to those who serve. The Walt Disney Company has a longstanding relationship with the United States military that dates back to World War I, when its founders, Walt and Roy Disney, both served.
On Veterans Day, the Disneyland Resort honors those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with a very special flag retreat. This tradition sees cast members who are current or former military members take the center stage alongside the Disneyland Band and Disneyland Resort Security Honor Guard to be thanked.

The flag retreat ceremony began with nearly 200 cast members from the SALUTE Belonging Employee Resource Group, or BERG, joined by other current and former military members from across the resort, proudly marching down Main Street, U.S.A. in uniform. They then lined the surrounding area in Town Square to be a part of this special ceremony. During the ceremony, these service members and others in attendance were honored and thanked by all in attendance. Because it was Veterans Day, there were also daytime fireworks added to the flag retreat. Friend of Daps Magic, Bryce Redmann, filmed the following video of this very special moment.
The Disneyland Resort currently employs over 900 veterans. This happy place continues to be a popular place to work and a destination for U.S. military members and their families. Since 2012, Disney has contributed over $20 million in funding and support to nonprofit organizations that focus on bringing joy to veterans and military families.
We at Daps Magic take our hats off to all who have served, or are currently serving, in the United States Armed Forces. Thank you for all of your sacrifices and service.
