Knott’s Merry Farm has officially begun! On Friday, November 21, 2025, Knott’s kicked off its Christmas celebrations with the first day of this merry season. Throughout the day, there were plenty of treats to try, entertainment to experience, merchandise to buy, and even to meet Santa Claus! As the sun went down, the area around the Christmas tree was the place to gather for the Christmas Tree Lighting Moment. Called ‘Tis the Season Tree Lighting Ceremony, this magical moment takes place at 5:15 PM in Calico Park.

This year, a new Christmas tree can be found in Calico Park. The tree and the surrounding stage are much larger than those found in the park previously. It is beautiful. The tree has over 7,000 twinkling lights, a hundred custom-made candles, and is adorned with a variety of vintage Victorian-inspired wood ornaments. 

At 5:15 PM, the music began, and soon the area was filled with performers singing and dancing on the stage around the Christmas tree. The ceremony was very similar to the one from last year. Ultimately, it built up to a glowing ornament being revealed and the tree being lit. This ceremony is full of Christmas spirit and should not be missed when visiting Knott’s Merry Farm.

Knott’s Merry Farm will continue to bring the spirit of the season to Knott’s Berry Farm through January 4, 2026.
