On this day in 1955, film producer, director, writer, artist, and Disney Legend Don Hahn was born. Hahn is best known for producing some of the most acclaimed films of the Disney Renaissance, including ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ ‘The Lion King,’ ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame,’ and ‘The Emperor’s New Groove.’ He served as executive producer on multiple Disneynature films, including ‘Earth’ and ‘Oceans.’ Hahn also directed the Disney documentaries ‘Waking Sleeping Beauty’ and ‘Howard.’ [70 years ago in 2025]
