There are many different things to see and do at the Disneyland Resort during the holidays. There are beautiful decorations to enjoy, delicious bites to taste, merry merchandise to shop for, and some incredible entertainment to enjoy. The entertainment ranges from the classic and traditional A Christmas Fantasy Parade (now celebrating its 30th anniversary) to something at the other end of the spectrum. This year sees the return of The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special near Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure for the second year in a row. This story time sees Deadpool telling some classic Christmas tales in his own way. Sometimes, Wolverine also joins him.

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort began on November 14, 2025, and continue through January 7, 2026. Because of the rain coming down around Southern California over the weekend, Deadpool and Wolverine didn’t make their first holiday appearances until Sunday, November 16th. Daps Magic was on hand for the first two performances by Deadpool and Wolverine. The first story of the day that was shared was Deadpool’s version of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Deadpool takes things in some different directions than fans of the classic Christmas poem might expect, and the guests on hand loved it. Check it out below.

The second story was a version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. This version isn’t quite as close to the book as A Muppet Christmas Carol. It is very entertaining, though. Below is a video of this performance.

The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special appears to include these two stories. Times for when they are being presented can be found on the Disneyland app. This show is outdoors, so it can be impacted by the weather. What do you think of these performances?
