Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is being offered on select nights at Magic Kingdom during the Halloween season at Walt Disney World Resort. This after-hours hard-ticketed event allows guests to see many different Disney characters (some in costume), trick or treat, enjoy food, merchandise, attractions, and entertainment! The entertainment for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party really is a lot of fun! There are stage shows, fireworks, a parade, and even a pirate band!
The pirate band is called Rusty Cutlass and is found across from the entrance to Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland. They play multiple songs in a half-hour set in the style of sea shanties. This includes some songs that normally aren’t associated with the sea. Some songs have been played with to make them fit for pirates. This includes Come and Get Your Rum instead of Come and Get Your Love. While visiting Walt Disney World Resort for Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, Daps Magic got a chance to check out Rusty Cutlass. Here is a look at their performance at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party:
Rusty Cutlass is just one of the groups of pirates that make an appearance on this stage. Throughout the night, there were some other moments that happened that were quite humorous as well. Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are already sold out for this year. However, this Halloween party will undoubtedly be back next year!
