One of the most classic Christmas celebrations that can be enjoyed in a theme park in California is the transformation of Knott’s Berry Farm into Knott’s Merry Farm. Each Christmas, the park comes to life with Christmas decorations, entertainment, and other memorable offerings that are packed full of Christmas spirit. Knott’s Merry Farm will be running from November 21, 2025, through January 4, 2026. During this merry celebration, guests can experience holiday favorites like Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas or the nightly snowfall in Ghost Town. This year, Knott’s has also announced that it will be unveiling a dazzling new Christmas Tree that will be adorned with over 7,000 twinkling lights, a hundred custom-made candles, along with being adorned with a variety of vintage Victorian-inspired wood ornaments. This will be a classic Christmas tree that celebrates the spirit of Christmas with the feel of Knott’s Berry Farm.

Tis the Season Tree Lighting
Every night, the new Christmas tree will have a tree lighting moment in Calico Park. This is a favorite celebration at Knott’s Merry Farm and includes dancers, singers, and nostalgic charm.
Snow and Glow
In Calico, a Christmas tradition continues with the return of the Snow and Glow experience. Guests will find thousands of lights on the building and paths in Calico coming to life as they dance to the beat of Christmas music while “snow” comes down throughout Ghost Town.
Santa’s Christmas Cabin
The Wilderness Dance Hall transforms into Santa’s Christmas Cabin each year for Knott’s Merry Farm. This is a place where the entire family can create memories together by taking photos with Canta Claus and his friends.
Bird Cage Theatre
Over at the Bird Cage Theatre, there will be two Christmas productions presented by Knott’s melodrama company. First will be a reimagined version of the Charles Dickens classic, A Calico Christmas Carol. The second offering is the heartwarming Knott’s version of O. Henry’s classic tale of love and sacrifice, The Gift of the Magic, 1885.
Ghost Town Carolers
The Ghost Town Carolers, Knott’s vocal quartet, will sing their way around the streets of Ghost Town. Their performances hearken back to the era of Victorian Christmases with their seasonal songs.
Home for the Holidays
The Calico Mine Stage will come to life in the evening with the return of Home for the Holidays. This is a stage show full of joyous merriment that brings warmth to the coolest California nights with its holiday spirit as performers sing and dance to popular holiday tunes.
Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas
The Walter Knott Theater will once again see Snoopy and the Peanuts gang skating through the holidays in Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas. This popular show will return with Knott’s Ice Skating Ensemble and Snoopy retelling the classic poem A Visit from St. Nicholas that has been re-imagined in the style of the Peanuts.
Fiesta Plaza Stage
The Fiesta Plaza Stage will come to life with Latin Caribbean and New York salsa, along with current American top 40 songs, when the bands Adelaid, Pilar, and Junio perform. This is always a fun place to stop when at Merry Farm, as these fantastic performers bring their spirit to the season’s celebrations.
Christmas Crafts Village
Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village will be returning again this year. Wander through the different booths as local artisans show and sell their unique gifts. There are even chainsaw wood carvings and elegant glass-blowing vendors that create treasures before your own eyes!
Knott’s Merry Farm Food Offerings
Knott’s has become known for its delicious and sometimes unique foods throughout the years. Knott’s Merry Farm is no exception. Throughout the holidays, guests can enjoy traditional holiday classics with a twist as they stroll around the park. This includes the chicken tamale fries, a turkey corn dog with a stuffing-seasoned batter, and a gingerbread cheesecake dip with Nilla wafers. Over at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant, there are new specialty holiday offerings that return to the menu, along with some massive items that are meant to be shared. This includes the turkey club jumbowich.
Knott’s Hotel
Add even more merriment to a Knott’s Merry Farm visit by staying overnight at The Knott’s Hotel. During the season, the Knott’s Merry Farm Holiday Package includes hotel accommodations, admission to Knott’s Merry Farm for one day for each registered guest, and hotel parking.
