On Sunday, August 30, 2025, a segment that focused on Disney on Broadway was offered at Destination D23 – A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney. Hosted by Susan Egan, the original Belle on Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, Be Our Guest with Disney on Broadway included performances from Michael James Scott and Danny Gardner. The three Broadway performers came together for a fun presentation that gave a musical glimpse at Disney on Broadway.
The segment also included performances from Michael James Scott, who originated the Genie in Aladdin in the Original Australian Cast. He performed Friend Like Me from Aladdin. Danny Gardner recently began his run as Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast and performed Be Our Guest from the musical, which included tap dancing! The segment wrapped up with Susan Egan also performing as part of the finale that celebrated the legacy of Disney on Broadway.
This was not the longest segment at Destination D23, but it was a fun one, however. It packed a lot into a less than 20-minute program. This one is worth watching and was a lot of fun for those who were in attendance.
