Frankenweenie

Movie Nights at Downtown Disney Continue Wednesday with a Screening of “Frankenweenie”

The fun of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort continues through October 31, and Downtown Disney is adding to the fun of spooky season. In addition to Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit happening in Downtown Disney, Wednesday nights through October 29 are dedicated movie nights at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage lawn on the west end near the main entrance to the Downtown Disney District.

On Wednesday, October 1, at 7 pm, Downtown Disney will present the 2012 movie Frankenweenie. Frankenweenie was directed and produced by Tim Burton and tells the story of a boy whose beloved dog passes away suddenly. The film follows a boy named Victor Frankenstein who uses the power of electricity to resurrect his dead Bull Terrier, Sparky. However, his friends discover what he has done and reanimate their own deceased pets and other creatures, which results in mayhem.
