The final trailer for Zootopia 2 has been released by Walt Disney Animation Studios. This comes ahead of the arrival of the film in theaters on November 26, 2025. The trailer shows Judy and Nick once again as partners. This time, they are on a mission to prove they are good partners while also tackling a case involving a snake. The trailer shows some highlights from the film while also debuting a new song sung by Gazelle called Zoo. Gazelle is Zootopia’s biggest pop star and is voiced by Shakira. Zootopia 2 Official Description
In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia 2,” detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. Oscar® winners Jared Bush (co-director/co-writer “Zootopia,” director/co-writer “Encanto”) and Byron Howard (director “Zootopia,” director “Encanto”) are directing; Bush is writing the script; Yvett Merino (Oscar-winning producer “Encanto”) produces. “Zootopia 2” hits theaters in Nov. 26, 2025.
The music and lyrics for Zoo are written by Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin, and Shakira. The song is produced by Blake Slatkin, Alex (A.C.) Castillo, Shakira, and Ed Sheeran. The single Zoo releases on Friday, October 10. The Zootopia 2 score is composed by Academy Award-winner Michael Giacchino and launches as a part of the full soundtrack on Friday, November 21, ahead of the film’s theatrical release on Wednesday, November 26.
On Wednesday, October 8th, Disney and Sirius XM will host an exclusive first listen of Zoo on Disney Hits (channel 133). Throughout the day, ahead of its worldwide release on October 10, SiriusXM’s Disney Hits will play the full song every hour.

Zootopia 2 has an incredible voice cast that is coming together. Along with Ginnifer Goodwin voicing Judy Hopps and Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde, Academy Award®-winner Ke Huy Quan will be voicing Gary De’Snake. They are joined by Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Macaulay Culkin, and Brenda Song who appear as the Lynxleys, one of the most prominent families in Zootopia. Comedian Fortune Feimster previously joined the cast as Nibbles Maplestick, an oddball beaver whose podcast explores reptile mysteries; Idris Elba returns as Chief Bogo, the well-respected head of the Zootopia Police Department; Patrick Warburton voices actor-turned-politician Mayor Brian Winddancer; Quinta Brunson stars as Dr. Fuzzby, an adorable quokka therapy animal; and Nate Torrence reprises his role as Clawhauser, Zootopia Police Department’s charming cheetah receptionist.
