On this day in 1950, actor and comedian Bill Murray was born. He is known for many iconic roles across his 50-year career, including in ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Groundhog Day.’ For Disney, he had memorable parts in the live action ‘The Jungle Book,’ ‘What About Bob?,’ ‘Ed Wood,’ ‘Rushmore,’ and ‘The Royal Tenenbaums.’ Murray was considered for a number of other roles, including Indiana Jones, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Buzz Lightyear, Sully, and Eddie Valiant, to name a few.
