On July 24, 2025, the newest mug to be released from Trader Sam’s will arrive. The Disneyland 70th Celebration Mermaid Lagoon Mug will be on sale for $80 through the Disneyland app. This will be for a limited time, and as with most of these mugs, there will be a limited quantity. For this very special mug, guests will go to the Grand Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel.
At the Grand Ballroom in the Disneyland Hotel, not only will guests be able to get this new mug, but they will also experience music, themed photo opportunities, and more. On top of that, artist Coppertop will be on deck to do a signing of her design. This will be a mug that will go fast, so be sure to grab it while supplies last.
Artist Signing
Artist Coppertop will be on hand to sign souvenir mugs. The queue for the signings will be open on July 24, 2025, at the following times:
- 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
- 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
The queue may close early for any of these time due to demand.
Coppertopn will only be able to sign the souvenir mug, which must be purchased at the Disneyland Resort on the day of the event. There is a limit of 2 signed items per guest. No personal items are able to be signed, and no other mug designs can be signed. It is possible that a valid Disneyland Resort may be required.
Specifics
- Mobile Orders can be placed through the Trader Sam’s Mug Release listing as early as 6 a.m. PT on July 24th.
- Arrival windows for designated pickup hours are between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.PT, and pickup is in the Grand Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel.
- Show mobile order confirmation at the entrance to Pixar Pals Parking structure to receive complimentary parking for up to 3 hours. The validation period starts when a parking ticket is obtained.
- During the arrival window, go to the Grand Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel and tap “I’m Here” in the Disneyland app. Upon receiving a notification from the app that order is ready, check with a Cast Member.
- Mobile orders not picked up during the designated pick-up window may have their orders cancelled and refunded.
- The mug will not be available for pickup at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar after the conclusion of the event.
- There is a limit of 2 specialty mugs per transaction, with only one transaction per guest.
