High Key Club at Disneyland Hotel

Disney Releases First Look at High Key Club Ahead of Opening at Disneyland Hotel

Disney has released a first look at the renovated concierge lounge at the Disneyland Resort. Called the High Key Club, it will be opening on July 10th in the Adventure Tower.  This lounge will celebrate the music and sounds of Disneyland as heard in 1955. It is described as “swanky and sophisticated, colorful and fun.” It will pay homage to the mid-century modern aesthetic that was so popular during the era when Walt Disney said, “To all who come to this happy place, welcome.”

The High Key Club features a mural that is nearly 50 feet wide, depicting soundscapes found at Disneyland through the years. This includes music, artists, musicians, and voices of early Disneyland, along with the unique instruments, bands, foley sounds, and history of audible magic at the park. The lounge also features artistic light fixtures resembling classic Disney records, and metal discs once used on a self-playing music machine that was in Walt Disney’s apartment on Main Street, U.S.A. Take a look at the photos that were shared by Disneyland today here:

Starting Thursday morning, guests who have reserved club-level rooms will be able to enjoy the added benefits and amenities that come with booking club-level in the High Key Lounge. This includes breakfast, snacks, and beverages throughout the day, a dedicated concierge, and a fantastic view of the fireworks when they are presented in the skies over Disneyland.

As can be seen in the above photos, looking and walking around the room will be a beautiful experience. There are beautiful views of the Disneyland Resort. There are also the beautiful views inside as guests look around and see how this new lounge draws inspiration from the enduring legacy of original and classic sounds that were heard at Disneyland in 1955. The lounge is a celebration of the music, artists, musicians, voices, and also the unique instruments, bands, foley sounds, and history of audible magic at the original Magic Kingdom park. There will also be a unique soundtrack that showcases the sounds and songs of the park heard by guests of the High Key Club. If all of that isn’t enough, expect to find some prominent artifacts when visiting as well!
