Following French Open Farewell, Rafael Nadal Visits Disneyland Paris

Rafael Nadal and his family visited Disneyland Paris after an emotional farewell at the French Open. At the French Open, he was honoured with a standing ovation, a moving video tribute, and a special on-court plaque to celebrate his record-breaking 14 titles at Roland-Garros.

After the French Open, he visited Disneyland Paris with his loved ones, including his young son, who was experiencing the resort for the first time. The tennis legend enjoyed experiencing the sights and sounds of the Disney Music Festival. The day culminated with the park’s spectacular new nighttime show, Disney Tales of Magic.

During the day, a highlight moment was a special meeting between the Spanish champion and Mickey Mouse. Mickey wore a tennis outfit, especially for the occasion. He greeted Nadal in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Rafael Nadal said: “A few days ago, I was extremely touched by the farewell I received at Roland Garros. I finished saying thank you France and thank you Paris and difficult to say more than that. Paris is always in my heart and as part of that Disneyland Paris has also been special. The magical moment continued, and it had to be once again at one of my favourite places. Thank you for the great time you allowed me to have with my family to put a beautiful end to what, once again, was a very special moment for me.”

The Disney Music Festival is currently running and continues through September 7, 2025. It’s Disneyland Paris’s first celebration of the iconic songs of Disney Animation and Pixar films. It is included with admission and the festival features over a dozen musical performances across all five lands. This includes Miguel’s Fiesta Latina in Frontierland and Mary Poppins’ jazz band in Town Square, to name just a couple of things. The Disney Music Festival brings beloved Disney and Pixar characters and songs to life in spectacular new ways.
