Disney on Broadway has announced that on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, there will be a watch party for Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical. The watch party will begin at 7:00 PM EST and 5:00 PM PT. It will also include commentary from some cast members. The news was shared via the following post on Instagram:
Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical is available to watch on Disney+. This adds another pro-shot to Disney’s streaming service, in this case of the West End production of Frozen. It stars Samantha Barks as Elsa. It was filmed earlier this year at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The production also features Laura Dawkes (Anna), Jammy Kasongo (Kristoff), Craig Gallivan (Olaf), Oliver Ormson (Hans), Richard Frame (Duke of Weselton), and Mikayla Jade (Sven).
The arrival of Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical on Disney+ has it join Newsies: The Hit Broadway Musical, Disney’s Broadway Hits, and other programming that brings Disney on Broadway to Disney+, including Hamilton.
This production includes 12 new songs that were written specifically for the Broadway musical and that aren’t included in the original animated film. It also includes songs from the film like For the First Time in Forever, Do You Want to Build a Snowman, and Let It Go. The musical features music and lyrics by the creators of the film score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and a book by Jennifer Lee. The musical was directed by Michael Grandage with choreography by Rob Ashford.
