On this day in 1990, the Bengal Barbecue counter-service restaurant opened in Adventureland. Its real estate used to belong to the Sunkist, I Presume dining location and was changed after Sunkist did not renew their sponsorship. Bengal Barbecue specializes in meat and veggie skewers which are grilled onsite. Its facade was one of the few that did not need to be changed when Adventureland adopted a 1930s theme to align with the Indiana Jones Adventure. [35 years ago in 2025]
