The Pixar Pals Playtime Party has returned to the Fantasyland Theatre for the second summer in a row. This time, instead of being for Pixar Fest, the party is returning as a part of the variety of entertainment offerings associated with the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. Things are a little different this year, but still continues to have that positive energy that fans of this offering last year know and love.
The highlight of the Pixar Pals Playtime Party is the dance/show moment. During this part of the day, which is offered four times, four performers take to the stage to lead guests and characters in different dance moves, inspired by the characters joining them on the stage. There appear to be two variations of this show moment. Below is a look at one of the show moments from the opening weekend of the Playtime Party.
During the opening weekend of Pixar Pals Playtime Party, the show moments were at:
- 12:00 PM
- 1:30 PM
- 3:00 PM
- 4:30 PM
Those showtimes could change from day to day so be sure to check the Disneyland app for specific times if you want to experience this.
There are other things to enjoy during Pixar Pals Playtime Party as well. Pixar shorts are played on the screen between the show moments. Some favorite Pixar characters also make appearances throughout the day for meet-and-greet opportunities. Characters that currently can be found include Jessie and Woody from Toy Story, Luca and Alberto from Luca, Russell and Carl Fredricksen from Up, and Merida from Brave. There are also photo ops from the worlds of Monsters Inc., Cars, Onward, Up, and Luca.
