Former ESPN Zone Building

New Look Begins to Emerge on Former ESPN Zone Building at Downtown Disney District

The former ESPN Zone building at Downtown Disney District is in the midst of a transformation. This transformation will soon see it as the home for lululemon. As locals and fans have been watching the transformation happen, many have wondered how the recognizable facade on th outside of the building would change. There have been athletes on the side of the building, who once also moved, and many have wondered what would be done with them. Now, it appears there is an answer.

Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Disneyland Resort on Monday morning. While there, he noticed some changes to the former ESPN Zone building. The athletes are no longer focal points. Instead, the walls now fit with the decor found throughout the rest of the West End of Downtown Disney District. What was once a darker building of brick is now much lighter and has a more mid-century modern look. Check out the pictures that Steven took below.

The transformation of the former ESPN Zone building at Downtown Disney District is just one of many changes happening there. This includes new stores, restaurants, and transformations of favorites like Earl of Sandwich (which is getting a new home) and Jazz Kitchen.
