On this day in 2015, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, an expansion of the original Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, opened at Walt Disney World. The enhancements included 20 new Disney Vacation Club bungalows built over the water of the Seven Seas Lagoon. Two longhouse buildings were renovated into Disney Vacation Club Deluxe Studios, and a third DVC building was added. New amenities and landscaping added to the tropical ambiance.
