On this day in 1995, the Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye attraction debuted to invited guests at Disneyland. The ride is set in the Lost Delta of India, circa 1935, around the same time as the events of the ‘Temple of Doom’ film and before ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark.’ The attraction would be Disney’s fourth collaboration with George Lucas and Lucasfilm. Tony Baxter led a core project team of over 100 Imagineers in the ride’s development. [30 years ago in 2025]
